The children’s book fair in Bologna, one of the most prominent industry events with a history of 60 years, welcomes the international publishing community in April!
From 8 to 11 April 2024 Italian Bologna becomes an important venue for those who create and publish books for children and young adults. The children’s book fair which showcases around 1500 exhibitors from 100 countries is one of the world’s key copyright exchange events.
Slovenia is the Guest of Honour this year. Publishers from around the globe will have the opportunity to get to know the rich publishing scene of the country, promoted at the book fair through the exhibition And then what happens?, which will present the work of 59 contemporary Slovenian illustrators.
SLC will be present at the fair in form of a national exposition with the number D34, located in hall 29. Over 300 book titles from 30 Slovak publishers will be presented on an area of 32 square meters. We are proud to welcome BRAW awarded authors and illustrators Daniela Olejníková, Han Donau and Michal Hlatký at the Slovak stand.
