Dušan Dušek is one of the most important figures in contemporary Slovak prose and screenwriting; it is only natural that every new book of his becomes a cultural phenomenon. In this book, using affectionate humor, he weaves the past and present together to create a magical world. Memories are the basic building material of the whole work, and through them the author returns to a distant childhood. The aging hero, Adam, is seeking the richness of language and tries to find out whom he has to thank for it. Searching for what is or isn’t true in writing, he finally discovers that he is writing and living a book about miracles. The book contains the author's illustrations.
