Frankfurt Book Fair 2023 – come find us in hall 4.1, D 96

This year's 75th anniversary edition of the largest book fair in the world will be held in the spirit of Slovenia's honorary hosting, with the motto "Honeycomb of Words".

The national exposition of the Slovak Republic, prepared by the Slovak Literary Centre, will present the production of more than forty Slovak publishers on an area of 48 square meters.

In the afternoon of the first day of the fair, the Slovak stand will welcome numerous foreign guests of book culture for a friendly meeting and on this day also the prominent Slovak novelist Pavol Rankov will present his book The Holy Butcher of Šamorín – published in German translation as Der kleine Donaukrieg –, in the Frankfurter Künstlerclub in the center of Frankfurt at 7 p.m.

On Thursday 19 October at 3 p.m., as part of the fair project, participants of the Special Program for Publishers from Ukraine and neighboring countries will visit the Slovak stand again this year.
