Dominika Moravčíková and Dušan Taragel at the Literary Spring Festival in Centrope  in Vienna

On 14-15 May, the 17th edition of the literary event Literarischer Lenz in Centrope will take place in Vienna, focusing on authors from Central Europe. Slovakia will be represented by two finalists of the Anasoft Litera Award 2023 — Dominika Moravčíková and Dušan Taragel.

The readings will take place on both days from 7PM to 10PM in half-hour blocks at Theater Arche (Münzwardeingasse 2A) in Vienna. 

Dominika Moravčíková will present her short-story book The Deer House (KK Bagala, 2022) on 14 May at 8:30PM, and Dušan Taragel will read from his book Mobster Ballads (Slovart, 2022) on 15 May at 8:30. In addition to the originals, excerpts translated into German will be performed.

Many other interesting authors from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria are represented in the program, such as Petra Hůlová, Miloš Doležal, Eszter Kállay, Lajos Parti Nagy, Ana Marwan and Simone Hirth.

The event is organised by the Documentation Centre for Eastern and Central European Literature (Doml), based in Vienna, in cooperation with other partners.
